Australia Day 2025 Honours List

The 2025 Australia Day Honours list recognises and celebrates 732 Australians, including awards in the Order of Australia (General and Military Divisions), meritorious awards and recognition for distinguished and conspicuous service. 

The General Division of the Order of Australia

The 457 recipients of awards (all recipients' names and citations) in the General Division of the Order of Australia include:

• 6 appointment as Companions of the Order
• 23 appointments as Officers of the Order
• 108 appointments as Members of the Order
• 320 people were awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia

Meritorious Awards

The 196 recipients of Meritorious awards include recipients of the Public Service Medal, the Australian Police Medal, the Australian Fire Service Medal, the Ambulance Service Medal, the Emergency Services Medal, the Australian Corrections Medal and the Australian Intelligence Medal.
