On Monday 21 November 2016, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove hosted an investiture ceremony, at which the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, invested Mrs Roslyn Packer AC with the insignia of the Companion of the Order of Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Chair, Mr David Morgan and Chief Executive Officer, Ms Mikaela Stafrace from Kidney Health Australia.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for Cystic Fibrosis Australia, at which the Governor-General presented awards in recognition of contributions made by supporters to the organisation.
