Jerusalem; Tel Aviv

On Saturday 1 October 2016, in Jerusalem, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, accompanied by the Australian Ambassador to Israel, His Excellency Mr Dave Sharma, viewed the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Holy sites of the Old City.

In the afternoon, in Tel Aviv, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Australian Ambassador and Ms Rachel Lord, met with Australian Embassy staff and their families.

In the evening, at Al-Hamayim, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended a dinner hosted by the Australian Ambassador and Ms Lord.
