On Wednesday 14 September 2016, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), met with students from Ferncourt Public School, NSW, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to the Federal Republic of Germany, Ms Lynette Wood.

Later, the Governor-General met with students from Merrimac State School, QLD, as as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.

Then, the Governor-General received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morroco, His Excellency Mr Mohamed Mael-Ainin.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General met with students from Claremount Meadows Public School, NSW, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
