Amberley, QLD; Canberra, ACT

On Monday 12 September 2016, at RAAF Base Amberley, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Commander-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, attended a Meritorious Unit Citation Investiture Ceremony for Number 5 Flight (5FLT), at which the Governor-General delivered an address and issued the warrant to Commanding Officer, 5FLT, Wing Commander Matthew Bowers.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General met with students from Bedourie State School, QLD, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
