Easter Island, Chile; Rarotonga, Cook Islands

On Friday 12 August 2016, during a refuelling stop on Easter Island, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Governor, Ms Carolina Hotu Hey, visited the Ahu Tahai National Park.

In the evening, in Rarotonga, Cook Islands, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove met with the Queen’s Representative to the Cooks Islands, the Honourable Tom Marsters and Mrs Tuaine Marsters.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended a dinner hosted in their honour by the Queen’s Representative and Mrs Marsters.
