On Tuesday 26 July 2016, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received the High Commissioner for New Zealand, His Excellency Mr Chris Seed.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students from Ellenbrook and Beechboro Schools, WA as they undertook a tour of Government House, as part of their visit to Canberra.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for Suicide Prevention Australia delegates attending the 2016 National Suicide Prevention Conference ‘Connecting Culture, Context and Capabilities’, in Canberra from Sunday 24 to Wednesday 27 July 2016.
