Federal Executive Council; Australian National Flag Day; Special Air Service Regiment DVD launch; 75th Anniversary of the RAAF Chaplain Branch

On Thursday 3 September 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), presided over a meeting of the Federal executive Council.

Afterwards, at the Australian War Memorial, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove as guests of the Chairman, Rear Admiral Ken Doolan AO RAN (Retd), attended a Ceremony to commemorate Australian National Flag Day.

Later, at Government House, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea for the launch of the DVD series “The Australian SAS; The Untold History”.

Then, the Governor-General received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bhutan, his Excellency Mr Kesang Wangdi.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted an afternoon tea on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Royal Australian Air Force Chaplain Branch.
