National Launch of Legacy Week

On Monday 31 August 2015, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) received the Chair, Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, the Honourable Justice Peter McClellan AM QC.

Afterwards, at the Martin Place Cenotaph, Sydney, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chairman, Legacy Australia Incorporated, Legatee Mr David Gray, attended the National Launch of Legacy Week at which the Governor-General made the keynote address then laid a wreath with Lady Cosgrove and two junior Legatees, Miss Tanesha Hancock and Miss Kyala Hancock.
