Farewell Ceremony Kuala Lumpur; Visit to Royal Malaysian Air Force Base Butterworth; Welcome Ceremony Sandakan; Sandakan Day Reception

On Friday 14 August 2015, at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove attended a farewell ceremony.

Afterwards, at Royal Malaysian Air Force Base Butterworth, Penang, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended a welcome ceremony.

Later, at the Combined Officers’ Mess, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Commander Integrated Air Defence System, Air Vice-Marshal William Henman AM, attended morning tea with Australian Defence Force members and families.

Then, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Air Vice-Marshal Henman AM, viewed Royal Malaysian Air Force Base Butterworth.

Afterwards, at Sandakan Airport, Sabah, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended a welcome ceremony.

In the evening, in Sandakan, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the President of Sandakan Municipal Council, Datuk James Wong, attended the Sandakan Day dinner.
