At Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, the Governor-General, as Patron of Australian Rugby Union, and Lady Cosgrove attended the Australia v South Africa Test Match, at which the Governor-General presented the Nelson Mandela Challenge Plate to the Captain of the Wallabies, Mr Stephen Moore.
