Centenary of the Royal Australian Survey Corps Wreathlaying Ceremony; Proclamation; State Dinner

On Wednesday 1 July 2015, at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the President, Canberra Survey Corps Association, Lieutenant Colonel Robert McHenry (Retd), attended the Centenary of the Royal Australian Survey Corps Wreathlaying Ceremony.

Afterwards, following the departure from Australia of the Governor-General, the Proclamation assuming the Administration of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia was signed by the Governor of Queensland, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC.

Then, at the State House, Port Vila, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove met with the President of Vanuatu, His Excellency Mr Baldwin Jacobson Lonsdale.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended a State Dinner hosted in their honour by President Lonsdale.
