New Entry Officer’s Course 52 Passing Out Parade; Australian Catholic University History Showcase Launch, Anniversary Book Launch and Portrait Unveiling; ‘Vinnies CEO Sleepout’
On Thursday 18 June 2015, at HMAS Creswell, Jervis Bay, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Commander-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove attended the New Entry Officer’s Course 52 Passing out Parade, at which the Governor-General was the Reviewing Officer.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chancellor, the Honourable John Fahey AC, attended the History Showcase Launch, Anniversary Book Launch and Portrait Unveiling, at which the Governor-General launched Dr John Hirst’s book, ‘Australia’s Catholic University: The First Twenty-Five Years’.
In the evening, at Luna Park, Sydney, the Governor-General, as guest of the NSW Chief Executive Officer, St Vincent de Paul Society, Mr Michael Perusco, attended the ‘Vinnies CEO Sleepout’.
