Opening of Robert Poate Reintegration and Recovery Centre and National Soldier On Headquarters; Call by the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

On Tuesday 17 March 2015, at Gungahlin Homestead, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) as guest of the Chairman, Soldier On, Lieutenant General Professor Peter Leahy AC (Retd), opened the relocated Robert Poate Reintegration and Recovery Centre and National Soldier On Headquarters.

Afterwards, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General received the Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr Hugh Borrowman, and Assistant Secretary South-East Asia Mainland Bilateral Branch, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr Richard Andrews.

Later, the Governor-General received the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His Excellency Mr Nguyen Tan Dung, and his accompanying delegation.
