Re-opening of the ‘Australia in the Great War’ Gallery; ‘Australia in The Great War’ Gallery Lunch

On Sunday 22 February 2015, at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chairman of the Council for the Australian War Memorial, Rear Admiral Ken Doolan AO RAN (Retd), launched the re-opening of the ‘Australia in The Great War’ Gallery.

Afterwards, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a lunch to coincide with the official re-opening of the ‘Australia in The Great War’ Gallery. Later, at Defence Establishment Fairbairn, Canberra, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Canberra of Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway, by Mr Mark Fraser LVO OAM, Official Secretary to the Governor-General.
