Credentials Ceremonies; Canberra International Music Festival

On Friday 17 May 2013, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received from His Excellency Ms Tseggai Tesfozion Sereke, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the State of Eritrea. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Besher Idriss-Nour Omer (Consul-General).

Afterwards, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Jairo Hernandez Milian, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica.

Later, the Governor-General received the President and CEO of the Global Fund for Women, Dr Musimbi Kanyoro; Vice President of Development, Ms Elaine Martyn; and Vice President of Programs, Ms Jane Sloane.

Then, the Governor-General received Indigenous Ngunnawal Elder, Aunty Agnes Shea.

Afterwards, the Governor-General attended ‘The Lark Ascending’ as part of the Canberra International Music Festival.
