Federal Executive Council; Morning tea for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade graduate trainees; Reception for National Council Members and delegates attending the Museums Australia National Conference
On Thursday 16 May 2013, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.
Afterwards, at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr Peter Varghese AO, attended a morning tea with the new intake of graduate trainees.
Later, at Government House, the Governor-General received the Founder of the Indigenous Reading Project, Mr Daniel Billing, and Volunteer, Mr Stephen Brown.
Then, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a reception for National Council members and delegates attending the Museums Australia National Conference.
