Launch of Access to Life Exhibition

In Sydney, the Governor-General launched the "Access to Life" photographic exhibition in recognition of World AIDS Day. As Patron of the Pacific Friends of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Ms Bryce discussed progress in the fight against AIDS in Australia. Programs supported by the Global Fund are providing AIDS treatment for 3.6 million people, anti-tuberculosis treatment for 9.3 million people and 270 million insecticide-treated nets for the prevention of malaria.The Access to Life exhibition has been touring the world for over four years and will be displayed at the Powerhouse Museum until July 2013.
