Executive Council

On Thursday 8 November 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received former students of The Women’s College, Dr Kate Makin and Ms Beverly Bryant.

Later, the Governor-General received the Chairman of the Disability Advocacy Network Australia, Mr Craig Nadler; the Deputy Chair, Ms Christina Ryan; the Chief Executive Officer, Ms Andrea Simmons; and the Executive Officer, Ms Diana Palmer.

In the evening, at the Gallery of Australian Design, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron of the Australian Institute of Architects, attended the 2012 National Architecture Award exhibition launch.
