Mission Australia, African Sisters on the Move; Liverpool Youth Accommodation Assistance Company; Liverpool Neighbourhood Connections
On Friday 19 October 2012, at Mission Australia, Camperdown, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as guest of the Chief Executive Officer of Mission Australia Housing, Mr Andrew McAnulty, met with staff and residents at the Common Ground project.
Afterwards, at SydWest Multicultural Services, Blacktown, the Governor-General, as guest of the Coordinator, Ms Yatta Quetee, attended a lunch with the African Sisters on the Move.
Later, at the Liverpool Youth Accommodation Assistance Company, the Governor-General, as guests of the Program Manager, Ms Lisa Attard, and the Living Skills Worker, Ms Elizabeth Milinkovic, received an overview of the services offered before meeting with staff and clients.
Then, at Liverpool Neighbourhood Connections, Warwick Farm, the Governor-General, as guest of the Executive Director, Ms Christine Luttrell, and the Operations Manager, Ms Pat Hall, met with staff and trainees from the Pepper’s Place Social Enterprise Café and the Doorways to Future program.
