Executive Council; Prime Minister of Singapore

On Thursday 11 October 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ms Anna Burke MP.

Later, the Governor-General received the outgoing Director of the Museum of Australian Democracy, Mrs Jenny Anderson.

Then, the Governor-General received the Secretary of Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development, Ms Corazon Soliman; the Deputy Ambassador of the Philippines, Ms Mary-Anne Padua; and the AusAID representative in Manila, Ms Octavia Borthwick.

In the afternoon the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE received the Australian High Commissioner to the Republic of Singapore, Mr Doug Chester.

Afterwards the Governor-General and Mr Bryce received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, His Excellency Mr Lee Hsien Loong and Mrs Lee Hsein Loong.
