Jordan National Commission for Women; Ceremonial Welcome; His Majesty King Abdullah II and Queen Rania; Za’atri Refugee Camp; State Dinner

On Sunday 2 September 2012, at the Four Seasons Hotel, Amman, Jordan, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO met with members of the Jordan National Commission for Women.

Afterwards, at Al Hummar Palace, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, attended a Ceremonial Welcome hosted in their honour by the Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.

Later, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce met with King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.

Then, at Za’atri refugee camp, Jordan, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of Head of the UNHCR in Jordan, Mr Andrew Harper, met with UN representatives and families.

In the evening, at Basman Palace, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, attended a State Dinner hosted in their honour.

Earlier, Mr Bryce, as guest of Curator, Dr Hassam Al Halalmeh, visited the King Hussein bin Talel Mosque.
