On Tuesday 1 March 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a reception for members of the Senate, at which the Governor-General received the Address-in-Reply from the President of the Senate, Senator the Honourable John Hogg.
