On Sunday 25 April 2010, at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency Dr Ken Michael AC, attended the ANZAC Day Dawn Service.

Afterwards, at the Australian War Memorial, the Administrator attended the ANZAC Day Commemorative Service and reviewed the march past of service and ex-service associations. Later, the Administrator laid a wreath at the Stone of Remembrance and a floral tribute at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Afterwards, at the National Archives of Australia, Canberra, the Administrator, as guest of the Assistant Director Visitor and Education Services, Ms Marg Wade, viewed the ???Memory of a Nation' and ???Stanley Melbourne Bruce: Prime Minister and Statesman' exhibitions. At Gallipoli, during a visit to the Republic of Turkey, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Gallipoli Dawn Service, at which the Governor-General delivered the commemorative address and laid a wreath. Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended commemorative services at which the Governor-General laid wreaths at: the Australian Memorial, Lone Pine; the Turkish 57th Regiment Memorial, Sari Bair; and the New Zealand War Memorial, Chunuck Bair.
