On Monday 22 March 2010, at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Public Education Foundation's 2010 Stellar Scholarships for Girls ceremony, at which the Governor-General presented awards to the scholars.

Later, at Admiralty House, the Governor-General as Patron-in-Chief of the Constitution Education Fund Australia, received Foundation Councillor, the Honourable Justice Lloyd Waddy RFD, and Mrs Edwina Waddy. In the evening, at City Recital Hall, the Governor-General attended Sydney Symphony Orchestra's performance of ???Mahler'.
