On Thursday 11 March 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Patron of the Royal Over-Seas League, received the World Chairman, Sir Anthony Figgis KCVO CMG and Lady Figgis; and the Chairman for Australia and President of Victoria, Mr Jason Ronald OAM.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received the Ambassador to the United Nations and the Conference on Disarmament, Geneva, Mr Peter Woolcott. Earlier, the Governor-General was represented in Sydney at the departure from Australia of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, His Excellency Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, by Captain Michael Hickey ADC RAN, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
