On Monday 1 March 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Co-Chair of the Minister's Dementia Advisory Group, Ms Sue Pieters-Hawke.

In the afternoon, at Defence Establishment Fairbairn, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the ceremonial arrival of the President of the Republic of Botswana, His Excellency Lieutenant General Seretse Khama Ian Khama. In the evening, at Government House, the Governor-General received the President of the Republic of Botswana.
