On Wednesday 10 February 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received a farewell call from the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Mr Mahmoud Movahhedi and Mrs Iran Movahhedi. Later, at the Canberra Museum and Gallery, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron of Capital Arts Patrons Organisation, attended the exhibition ???Put one and two together Terrific & Colour by numbers' by Ms Elizabeth Kelly.
