On Monday 8 February 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Warden of St Paul's College, Reverend Doctor Ivan Head, who was accompanied by Mrs Christine Head.

In the evening, the Governor-General hosted a reception for delegates of the American Bar Association. Earlier, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia of the President of the Republic of Kiribati, His Excellency the Honourable Anote Tong MP, by Group Captain Brian Duddington AM ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp. Later, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the President of the Republic of Kiribati, His Excellency the Honourable Anote Tong MP, by Commander Geoffrey Fiedler ADC RAN, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
