On Tuesday 26 January 2010, at Regatta Point, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Australia Day Flag Raising and Citizenship Ceremony at which the Governor-General led the Australian Citizenship Affirmation.

Later, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General received the Prime Minister of Australia, the Honourable Kevin Rudd MP.
