On Tuesday 19 January 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a lunch in honour of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales KG. In the evening, at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre, Tamworth, New South Wales, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a reception with the Telstra Road to Tamworth participants and competitors. Afterwards, at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre, Tamworth, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended the Australian Bushman's Campdraft and Rodeo Association's National Junior Finals, at which the Governor-General presented awards to the winning finalists. Earlier, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency the Honourable Marcus Stephen MP, by Colonel Dennis Scanlan CSM RFD ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
