On Monday 2 February 2009, at Government House, Hobart, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Chief Executive Officer of Periwinkle Projects, Doctor Natasha Cica.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Governor-General, Colonel Stephen Carey ADC and Commander Tony Vine RAN ADC. Later, the Governor-General received the Premier of Tasmania, the Honourable David Bartlett MP and Mrs Larissa Bartlett. In the evening, at Moorilla Estate, Hobart, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended a State Reception hosted in their honour by the Premier of Tasmania. Earlier, at Government House, Hobart, Mr Bryce received the Chairman of Southern Ice Porcelain, Mr Ronald Banks AM. Earlier, at Sydney International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia of the President of the Republic of Kiribati, His Excellency the Honourable Anote Tong MP by Captain Raymond Leggatt ADC RAN, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
