On Saturday 6 October 2007, at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, the Administrator Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, as the guest of honour, attended a performance by the Early Music Ensemble as part of the Conductors' Series.

In the evening at the James Milson Nursing Home, North Sydney, the Administrator and Sir Nicholas Shehadie AO OBE attended the 25th??Anniversary Dinner and officially opened the new extensions to the Nursing Home. In The Kingdom of Belgium, at Harbour House, Port of Zeebrugge, Their Excellencies, the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC and Mrs Marlena Jeffery toured the Port as guests of the Governor of West Flanders, Mr Paul Breyne, and afterwards attended a luncheon at the Residence of the Governor.
