On Thursday 8 March 2007 at the Deutsche Bank Building, Sydney, His Excellency the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC attended a Sharelife Australia Board Meeting, and afterwards officially opened the Pacific Equity Partners Offices.

In the evening, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General and Mrs Jeffery, as Joint Patrons of the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, hosted a reception for the Friends of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (South Eastern Division) Earlier, at the Mona Vale Golf Club Mrs Jeffery addressed the International Women's Day Breakfast hosted by the Zonta Club of Northern Beaches and Pittwater Council.
