On Friday 27 November 2020, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), accompanied by Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, received Letters of Commission accrediting His Excellency Dr Joseph Nii Sai Coffie-Agoe as the High-Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana. The High-Commissioner was accompanied by his spouse, Mrs Ida Muriel Nana Oye Coffie-Agoe; Ms Vivian Kafui Akua Asempapa, Deputy Head of Mission; Mr Hakeem Balogun, Minister; Mr Kwame Boamah, First Secretary.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, accompanied by Mrs Linda Hurley, received Letters of Credence accrediting His Excellency Mr Tat Thanh Nguyen as the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Ambassador was accompanied by his spouse, Ms Tu Huyen Nguyen; Ms Thi Thuy Nga Pham, Deputy Head of Mission; Mr Tat Hung Nguyen, Minister Counsellor; Colonel Truong Son Tran, Defence Attaché.

Later, the Governor-General, accompanied by Mrs Linda Hurley, received Letters of Credence accrediting His Excellency Mr Jean-Pierre Thebault as the Ambassador of the Republic of France. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mrs Anne Boillon, Consul-General; Mrs Julie Le Saos, Deputy head of Mission; Captain Jean-Marc Le Quilliec, Defense Attaché.
Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a morning tea for the Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange.

Afterwards, the Governor-General held a teleconference with Ms Carol Kiernan, Ms Elizabeth Hartnell-Young and Ms Ruth McGowan, co-founders of Honour a Woman.
Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley attended the New Colombo Plan 2021 Scholarships Awards presentation ceremony as guests of Mr Michael Bergmann, Director, Scholarships and Alumni Branch, at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for Soldier On.
