On Tuesday 22 December 2020, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a virtual Ministerial swearing-in ceremony at which the Governor-General issued Oaths and Affirmations of Office to the newly appointed Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries, including the Honourable Greg Hunt MP, Minister for Health and Aged Care; the Honourable Paul Fletcher MP, Minister for Communications, Urban Infrastructure, Cities and the Arts; the Honourable Dan Tehan MP, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment; the Honourable Alan Tudge MP, Minister for Education and Youth; Senator the Honourable Richard Colbeck, Minister for Senior Australian and Aged Care Services and Minister for Sport; the Honourable Alex Hawke MP; Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs; the Honourable Michael Sukkar MP, Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Housing and Minister for Homelesneness, Social and Community Housing; Senator the Honourable Zed Seselja, Minister for International Development and the Pacific; Senator the Honourable Jane Hume, Minister for Superannuation, Financial Services and the Digital Economy; the Honourable Ben Morton MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for the Public Service and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Finance; the Honourable David Coleman MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister; the Honourable Luke Howarth MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Employment, Skills, Small and Family Businesses and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Education and Youth; Senator the Honourable Jonathon Duniam, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture, Drought and Emergency Management and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology.
Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a virtual ceremony at which the Governor-General issued the Oath and Affirmation of Office and Executive Council to the newly appointed Parliamentary Secretary, Senator Amanda Stoker, Executive Councillor, Parliamentary Secretary to the Attorney General; and the newly appointed Parliamentary Secretary, Mr Andrew Hastie MP, Executive Councillor, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Defence.
