On Tuesday, 2 February 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Senator the Honourable Amanda Stoker, attended the 2021 Ecumenical Service to commemorate the commencement of Parliament.

Afterwards, Mrs Hurley recorded a video message for the OZY Youth Choir Honouring Defence Service.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley recorded a video message for Little Helpers on the Run.

Then, the Governor-General recorded video messages for the 60th anniversary of Australia’s diplomatic relations with the Republic of Korea, and the Sydney International Piano Competition.
