On Friday 26 February 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received the Honourable Tony Pagone QC, Chair, Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety via video conference; Ms Lynelle Briggs AO, Commissioner, Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety; and Ms Sara Samios, Acting Official Secretary, Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a morning tea for the Sisters of Charity Foundation.

Later, the Governor-General received representatives of ‘Where There’s a Will’ including Ms Ange Clarke, Founder and Chief Executive Officer; Mr Will Clarke, Ambassador; Mr Simon Bouda, Patron; Mr Paul Hannigan, Chairman; Ms Karen Robertson, Board Member; and Mr Geoff Woodham, Board Member.

Then, the Governor-General received the Honourable Scott Morrison MP, Prime Minister.
