On Friday 21 May 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a morning tea to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Assistance Dogs Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Ms Kate Wrigley, Secretarial Support Officer, Government House Sydney.

Later, the Governor-General hosted a lunch for Mr John Azarias, Chairman, Lysicrates Foundation.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Lieutenant General Peter Leahy AC (Retd), Chair, and Mr Ivan Slavich, Chief Executive Officer, attended the Soldier On Gala Ball.
