On Saturday 29 May 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a presentation ceremony and morning tea to mark the 80th Anniversary of the Australian Air Force Cadets.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Admiralty House, New South Wales, to Government House, Australian Capital Territory.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Lieutenant Colonel Tracy Allison, Commanding Officer, Royal Military College – Duntroon, attended the Army Reserve Officer Graduation Dinner.
