On Wednesday 2 June 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) was represented by Mr Paul Singer MVO for the arrival in Australia of Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Dame Patsy Reddy GNZM QSO, Governor-General of New Zealand, and Sir David Gascoigne KNZM CBE, at Sydney Airport International Terminal, New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley attended the arrival of Dame Patsy and Sir David at RAAF Base Fairbairn, Australian Capital Territory.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley welcomed Dame Patsy and Sir David to Government House.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley as guests of Ms Gabrielle Thompson AM, Chief Executive Officer, attended an Australian World Orchestra Concert and post-concert reception at Llewellyn Hall, Canberra.
