On Thursday 3 June 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, together with Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Dame Patsy Reddy GNZM QSO, Governor-General of New Zealand, and Sir David Gascoigne KNZM CBE, attended a Welcome to Country at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received the Honourable Patricia Forsythe AM, Australian High Commissioner to New Zealand.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Their Excellencies Dame Patsy and Sir David.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a Ceremonial Welcome in honour of Their Excellencies Dame Patsy and Sir David.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Deb Sayers, Deputy Principal, met with students and teachers of Yarralumla Primary School in recognition of World Environment Day.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a State Dinner in honour of Their Excellencies Dame Patsy and Sir David.
