On Wednesday 9 June 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Government House, Australian Capital Territory, to Sydney, New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Sneha Chatterjee, Regional Director for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, Department of Home Affairs, attended the Multicultural Women’s Reference Group at the Australian National Maritime Museum.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted an afternoon tea for Fortem and First Responders to coincide with Thank-A-First Responder Day.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Admiralty House, New South Wales, to Government House, Australian Capital Territory.
