On Thursday 10 June 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a reception to give thanks to the life and contributions of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Adrian Watts, Chief Executive Officer, St John Ambulance ACT, joined the St John CBR NightCrew in Braddon.
