On Friday 11 June 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as Joint Patrons and guests of Mrs Carley Jones, Chief Executive Officer, Playgroup Australian Capital Territory, attended an intergenerational playgroup session.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a lunch for Latin American Heads of Mission. In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Brigadier Eamon Lenaghan CSC, Acting Head of Corps, Royal Australian Infantry, attended the Royal Military College-Duntroon, Royal Australian Infantry Corps lanyard presentation.
