On Wednesday 16 June 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Government House, Canberra, to Sydney, New South Wales.

Afterwards, Mrs Hurley, as Patron and the Governor-General, as guests of Mr John Azarias, Director, Lysicrates Foundation, attended the Martin-Lysicrates Prize Presentation at the Parramatta Riverside Theatres.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Sydney, New South Wales, to Jervis Bay, Australian Capital Territory.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley participated in a walking tour of HMAS Creswell.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Captain Warren Bairstow AM CSC, Commanding Officer, HMAS Creswell, attended the New Entry Officer Course (NEOC) 64 Ceremonial Sunset at HMAS Creswell.
