On Tuesday 29 June 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received a phone call from General Angus Campbell AO DSC, Chief of the Defence Force.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, met with His Excellency Major-General Jioji Konusi Konrote (Retd), President of the Republic of Fiji, and Her Excellency Mrs Sarote Konrote, via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley, participated in an interview with Jane Hutcheon for Stay Kind’s ‘Kind July Conversations’ Podcast via video conference.
