On Tuesday 6 July 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley met with Mr Kev Foley, President, and Mr Martin Cameron, Reserves Coach, Traralgon Football and Netball Club, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Councillor David West, Mayor, and Mr Adrian Panuccio, General Manager, MidCoast Council, via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General received a phone call from Professor Sandy McFarlane, Director, Adelaide Medical School, University of Adelaide.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Mr Craig Simkin, President, and Mr Garry Keeffe, Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Northampton, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with representatives of the French Rugby Federation – including Mr Bernard Laporte, President, and Mr Raphael Ibanez, General Team Manager – and Rugby Australia – including Mr Hamish McLennan, Chairman, and Mr Andy Marinos, Chief Executive Officer – via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley recorded video messages for the Isolated Children's Parents' Association and the Australian Indigenous Foundation.
