On Thursday 29 July 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley attended a briefing on the 2021 National Science Week Design Challenge at Questacon.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Ms Anna Maria Lang, Chair and Founder, Women Veterans United, via video conference.

Later, the Governor General and Mrs Hurley met with Ms Cheryl Horton, President, and members of the Parents and Partners of Dolphin Swimmers (PODS), via video conference.

Then, the Governor General and Mrs Hurley met with His Excellency Sir David Vunagi, Governor-General of Solomon Islands, and Her Excellency Lady Mary Vunagi, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor General and Mrs Hurley met with Mr Jason Trethowan, Chief Executive Officer, and members of headspace Greater Sydney (Bondi Junction, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Wollongong), via video conference.
