On Friday 6 August 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley met with Councillor Khal Asfour, Mayor, City of Canterbury-Bankstown, via video conference.

Afterwards, Mrs Hurley, as Patron, hosted a morning tea for the Allambee Club and Karinya House.

Later, the Governor-General received Ms Kerin Ayyalaraju, Head of Mission Designate for Denmark.

Then, the Governor-General received Mr Mark Brooker, Murrumbidgee Country Club.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Councillor Clover Moore, Lord Mayor, City of Sydney, via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Ms Marg Bogart, Head of Suicide Prevention and Early Intervention, and Ms Madeleine Starling, Online Communities Lead, Beyond Blue, via video conference.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Councillor Gordon Bradbery AM, Lord Mayor, Wollongong City Council, via video conference.
